Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Been feeling very out of whack lately, weird, sometimes I feel like I'm in a dream...speaking of dreams, I have such VIVID ones, it's amazing how real it feels, and I suppose they are real to an extent

Ive been grabbing crystals left and right to try and center myself 0__0
Been focusing more on photography and have left my traditional illustrations in the dust for now. I really enjoy fashion, esp. alternative, strange, "artsy" type of fashion shoots...and I'm into masks more and more, just bought a tiger one I'll be using for a future shoot. I know I'm not the perfect specimen of man LOL, but i think what's interesting is when u can comfortably mix feminine with masculine, like wearing eye make up and still having facial hair....

Discovered an artist/singer/designer named William Lemon aka "Moon and Moon" (yes, Natasha Khan's ex boyfriend, who I recently discovered had quite an impact on her art) check him out, I love his clothing line and his body art is soo cool and different, conjuring up the 1960's---> [link]

Also The Brooklyn-based band Yeasayer [link] have a new album out, and their first 2 videos are out of this fucking world, so stylish, cool, and different, do yourself a favour and watch!
